SFA officials have been suitably impressed with the facilities on offer at Saints' new ground since it first hosted an under-21 game against Belarus in 2009. Now the matches against Bulgaria, Austria, Holland Luxembourg will all take place there before the end of next year.
This is a great honour for the club and shows that the new ground is well thought of. Now all we need is for some of our players to get into the under-21 squad and there were steps towards that today, with mark Lamont called up to the under-19s for a training camp and Jordan Stewart making the under-16s squad for their trip to Jersey.
