A Saints select will take on Carlton YM in a friendly match at Greenhill Road next month. The game is effectively the semi-final of this year's Renfrewshire Cup.
The smart ones out there will be aware we have already played - and won - this year's Renfrewshire Cup final, but such are the delights of this competition that it seems OK to play semi-finals at a later date. Don't ask why, or what will happen if we lose.
The game will go ahead on Wednesday, September 1 with Carlton getting all gate receipts.
