Saints Sign Cameron

There's now an incentive for fans to go through and watch Saints tonight. It's the first chance to see new striker Martin Cameron in action. Cameron had previously worked with Saints boss Tom Hendrie and assistant manager John Coughlin at Alloa, and scored loads of goals there before moving to Bristol. He is built like a tank and has a hell of a powerful shot, he smacked the bar at Love Street from outside the box with Partick last season!

Now Cameron has managed to get himself out of his Rovers contract and sign for Saints. When The Herald revealed last week that Berwick were interested as well as other clubs, I had a feeling we were one of them. Well done to The Official Website for keeping this quiet from the PDE.

He seems to be a replacement for Mark Yardley, except he also has pace. Very agressive and a great signing. Can't wait to see him in action at Love Street on Monday against Motherwell.
