Pre-season schedule announced

We seem to have played the same teams every summer since Gus MacPherson was made the manager, although in the last few years there's been a couple of trips outwith Scotland. No sign of that this time though, and once again there's no home friendly (the Renfrewshire Cup doesn't count as far as the club is concerned). I also question the wisdom of playing these teams when we're assessing trialists - being good against Dumbarton doesn't mean you'll be good against Dundee United or Celtic.

Anyway, things kick-off at East Fife - a new addition this year - on Tuesday, July 14. Two days later we head to Dumbarton and we play Ayr the following Saturday. The Renfrewshire Cup final is at St. Mirren park on Tuesday, July 28.

While it's a pretty condensed schedule, there is still abit of space so maybe there is another friendly or two to be added.
