Pitch perfect

It's an improvement for Tommy on the previous season, when he finished runner-up, and a fine reward for all the hard work he does. Not one home game was cancelled last eason and the pitch was in perfect condition for nearly every game.

Tommy has been the groundsman for years and it shows, with the pitch at Love Street often in good nick. Now, if he'd just let us have a few summer friendlies on it...
