Petition Against The Old Firm

Last updated : 08 April 2002 By Stuart Gillespie
The petition has been set up to protest about the unfair way the Old Firm have been treating Scottish football in the last few years. The two clubs are stopping the development of the game, in both the SPL and the SFL, and have now mucked up SPL TV in an attempt to get themselves more money. While I for one wasn't for SPL TV, my reasons were that I wouldn't pay £8 a month to see the SPL. The Old Firm's reasons are, as per usual, to get more money. The people signing the petition feel that any monies raised from a TV deal should be shared equally among all the clubs, something I fully agree with.
