Paeslack On Trial

The website this news comes from claims that the German is a brusing physical striker, like his contryman Carsten Jancker. I completely agree, as I often felt he was a bit of a Jancker.

Paeslack was with Saints for around six months, joining on loan towards the end of our championship season. Despite not scoring and breaking his leg, he was signed in the summer. After starting off promisingly he got lazy and eventually handed in a transfer request, before moving to a team in Cyprus. When fellow dud Graham Fenton left in the summer of 2001, he confirmed rumours that Paeslack had "borrowed" money from Ludovic Roy and a watch from Fenton, but never got round to returning them.

He is a useless striker, hopefully for the sake of Derry's fans they won't sign him.
