One To Sign This Week?

Last updated : 17 July 2005 By Stuart Gillespie
One has played in all three of Saints friendlies so far, against the might of Dumbarton, Queen's Park and Stenhousemuir. Against Dumbarton he started well before fading. There have been mixed reports about his contributions in the other two matches, with some people claiming he was useless, unfit and lazy, whilst others have claimed that he looked good and would be worth signing.

One is a big, physical looking striker who doesn't seem to be able to use his physical presence. When he jumps for the ball he seems to get smaller. He was also reported to be out on the town at two in the morning just over a day before a crunch Partick Thistle match last season.

Saints need a big, phyiscal striker but is One the man for the job? If One signs this week he could quickly be joined by former Dundee United front man James Grady, who is also being linked with a switch to Saints.
