No Undersoil Heating Decision Yet

The SPL have asked the club to provide them with more documents, presumably to confirm that a new stadium will be ready for the start of season 2007/08. These documents will then be taken into consideration by the SPL board.

It is unlikely that the SPL will gave Saints a waiver, but it's worth a try anyway. If we don't get dispensation, undersoil heating will be installed over the summer, or we'll groundshare with Kilmarnock. The club have refused to comment on the situation until there has been a definite answer form the SPL.

Of course, this is all circumstantial at the moment as we have not won the league yet and there is still a long way to go. We're not the only team making preparations, however, as second placed Ross County are investigating groundsharing until their ground is up to standard. Third placed St. Johnstone's ground already meets the criteria.

Meanwhile, there is still no news from the SFA on whether our £25,000 fine for fileding an ineligible squad against Spartans will be reduced. A decision is not expected for another few weeks.
