No More Cheap Sales

Speaking to the PDE Hendrie said that as we only have 14 players, plus the three youngsters, no more players would be sold for rock bottom prices, like the deals that saw both Alex Burns and Barry McLaughlin leave. Instead, clubs will have to pay the going rate.

This apparently is the only reason there was any interest in Scott Walker and Ian Ross. Clubs thought they had been freed or available for next to nothing, so enquired about them. now they have been told they have to pay full whack which, in the case of Walker, is a shame to all of us ;-)
