Miller, who joined the MLS club in the summer after leaving Cardiff, had been linked with a short term move to former club Hibs to keep his fitness up ahead of the new American football season.
Suggestions Saints were after him emerged in the last few days, Lennon confirming in this morning's papers he had made an approach, with the player apparently keen to come to Paisley. However, Saints supporting BBC journalist Douglas McNeill has revealed on Twitter this afternoon that the Whitecaps are unwilling to let Miller go out on loan so he won't be joining us, Hibs or anyone else.
With Sporting Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer currently on trial at Saints in a bid to win a short term loan it seems Lennon wants to bolster our strikeforce next month - although most fans would be a lot happier if a defender was signed instead!
