Next month is likely to be a busy time for a number of clubs as the transfer window opens, but Saints won't be one of them after manager Danny Lennon revealed he has no plans to strengthen his squad.

This is disappointing news as while we're hardly screaming out for new players, a new central defender or striker wouldn't go amiss. However, Lennon feels that the recent or imminent returns of Hugh Murray, David Barron and Aaron Mooy from injury makes any signing attempts pointless.

So, no one coming in - but it wouldn't be a surprise to see that change if players leave, with Kenny McLean and Paul McGowan regularly being linked with moves down south.
