Ross had been training with the club for a few weeks following the end of his time playing in China. He played in a bounce game against Hearts during the week and was made an offer. However, Motherwell made a slightly better offer and that, combined with their upcoming Scottish Cup semi-final, saw him head to Fir Park.
Can't say I'm that bothered about this one. Ross might have been a decent player, but we have David van Zanten and the fit again David Barron to play at rightback.
