No deals for Severin or Laletin

Severin joined Watford last summer but didn't play much in the first half of the season before being loaned to Kilmarnock for the second. That suggests Watford boss Malky Mackay isn't too concerned about keeping him and there were rumours earlier in the week he would join team mate Jure Travner by moving to Saints on loan. However, that has fallen through due to non-footballing reasons - basically we can't afford him.

Defender Laletin featured as a trialist in last night's win over Ayr United and by all accounts seems to have done well. However, he was due to return to Germany today and it seems manager Danny Lennon won't be making a move for him.

He is, however, still considering a move for Stephen Glass, who scored last night - despite Lennon stating last week he wouldn't be signing him!
