News Round Up

After picking up seven points in our last three games, there would no doubt have been some confident Saints fans ahead of last weekend's game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Sadly, a goal from the Highlanders after just a few minutes was enough to seal the three points. Even worse, Will Haining was sent off and will miss Saturday's game against Falkirk. On the plus side, the reserves have continued their good form with two more wins, Chris Birchall scoring a few of the goals. They now sit ten points clear at the top of the league!

Elsewhere, Billy Mehmet has been named as Real Radio's SPL Player of the Month. This has apparently annoyed one of their presenters. Good!

All the other news is just rumour. Caley Thistle's John Rankin and former Dunfermline player Lee Bullen have both been linked with January switches to Saints, while another rumour is we'll sell Morton one of our stands when we leave Love Street!
