There have been plenty of changes on the footballing side of things recently, but it's all gone quiet in the boardroom recently, despite the club having been up for sale since September. However, that could change next week, with the directors trying to sell their shares set to meet Mr Atkinson next week.
Chairman Stewart Gilmour said: "There are further talks planned so there is ongoing business. The person we are speaking to has a lot to offer the club."
The Maxi Group, and in particular Mr Atkinson, have been linked with a takeover for a few months, and were rumoured to be close to completing a deal a couple of weeks ago. Now it looks as if this could be back on the cards, although it also seems possible a few of the existing directors could stay on.
