First team opportunities have been few and fear between for Molloy over the past year and it is possible that this loan deal could lead to a permanent move. While he was highly rated by Saints boss Gus MacPherson a few years ago and featured in the early part of the 2006/07 season, his injuries - along with the arrival of a number of other midfielders - have seen him fall out of the first team picture.
Molloy will link up with a number of former Saints at Forthbank, including David McKenna and Mark Docherty.
