McShane stays as youngsters leave

Last updated : 29 April 2011 By Stuart Gillespie

McShane has spent the year on loan at Dumbarton and after overcoming a serious injury has banged in 13 goals for the second division side, as well as being named the SFL's young player of the month. The 19-year-old has now signed up for another two years - with an option for a third - as he tried to prove he can cut it in the SPL.

The news isn't good for some other youngsters at the club. While Dominic kennedy and Adam McHugh have been offered first team contracts, Sean Burns, Joel Kasabundi, Craeg Little, Graeme Ramage, Ryan Francis, Conor Cassidy and Conor Ramsay have all been told they won't be getting offers. The inclusion of Ramsay - who played for the first team last season - is a surprise, while I'm sure Little has been capped for Scotland.

Not quite surprising is the news that Josh Horne is also leaving after allegations he made sectarian posts on social networking sites.
