McKnight On The Move

Last updated : 05 July 2004 By Stuart Gillespie
McKnight had two spells with Saints, one starting in 2000 where he memorably scored late winners against Falkirk and Ayr United to send us up. He hardly played again after that, due to excessive injuries. He was released in the summer of 2002 and, for some reason. John Coughlin brought the former Northern Ireland under 21 star back a year later! Needless to say he was injured most of the time and left before Christmas.

He signed for Glenavon in Northern Ireland and helped them to get relegated Oops!

He is now looking for a new club and it seems that Newry City and Lisburn Distillery (he'll like playing for them) are interested.
