Ludo Set For Falkirk Move

Last updated : 02 February 2005 By Stuart Gillespie
No doubt this will ensure Ludo plays a blinder, saving shots all over the place. If it's anything like his last game in a Saints jersey, he'll save an important last minute penalty.

Ludo's move to Falkirk has been rumoured to be taking place for a few weeks, and despite the transfer window being closed it looks as if the champions elect will sign the Frenchman next week. The fee is rumoured to be around £15,000 due to a clause in Ludo's contract, which he only signed in the summer. With Ayr in financial difficulty, it seems they are trying to move a high earner on.

Ludo signed for Saints in 1998 and was a vital part of the championship winning team in 2000. He was a fans favourite, and had he not picked up an injury during our year in the SPL we may have stayed up. His last game for Saints came in April 2003, when he saved a last minute penalty against Arbroath to secure a vital win. He left for Ayr, and on his return infuriated their fans by waving to the Saints support when they chanted his name!
