Lennon in trouble

Last updated : 26 February 2014 By Stuart Gillespie

Tempers flared in the second half after Saints skipper Jim Goodwin clashed with County's Melvin De Leeuw. County boss Derek Adams - who it's fair to say isn't Goodwin's biggest fan - got rather animated on the touchline and was rather incensed. Lennon responded by going over to him and the pair were sent to the stand.

Both have now been pulled up by SFA compliance officer Vincent Lunny, with Lennon having swearing added to his charge of being naughty on the touchline. The pair have been given until next Wednesday to respond, with the hearing due to take place at Hampden the following week.

Amusingly, Goodwin has escaped punishment for his challenge on De Leeuw and an early one on Filipe Kiss. No doubt that will go down well with Adams...
