Lappin For Scotland!

Last updated : 29 October 2006 By Stuart Gillespie
Lappin has been in good form for Saints in recent weeks, providing good crosses (usually for John Sutton) and looking dangerous from free kicks. Indeed, two of our last three goals have come from the Lappin cross/Sutton header combination.

Smith said: "I have a list of 30 players I will cut to 18 and Simon is on that list."

Whilst Lappin has done well, he perhaps isn't the only player at Love Street who should be considered for a call up, with the likes of Hugh Murray and Garry Brady also doing well.

Kirk Broadfoot is also being linked with a call up to the squad, however there are also rumours suggesting he has broken something again - news which would obviously rule him out of both Saints and Scotland action for some time.
