Kerr To Leave Ayr

Last updated : 30 November 2003 By Stuart Gillespie
Kerr looked promising until a shocking tackle by Ross Tokely put him out of football for over a year. On his return he was poor, and was loaned out to Alloa Athletic. He finally left last summer, much to most fans delight. Former Saints player Campbell Money, now Ayr manager, signed him up along with other former Saints Ludovic Roy and John Hillcoat. However he's struggled to get a game thanks to the fine form of fellow ginger left back Stewart McGrady and now looks set for the chop.

Meanwhile, Ayr could be about to sign another former Saints player to their squad. Lee Hardy, who was on trial at Love Street in the summer and was rubbish, played as a trialist for Ayr yesterday and scored. No doubt he'll be signed in time to play, and score, against us this Saturday!
