Kello stays as departures confirmed

Kello joined the club in October after an injury to Christopher Dilo and has been superb since then, making a number of top quality saves - including one against former club Hearts to earn us a point on Sunday.

His deal was due to end on January 6 and it was feared the Slovakian would go elsewhere, but he has today agreed a new deal that will keep him here until the summer. It's great news as it would have been a huge blow if he'd gone.

Meanwhile, the departures of loan players Cornell and Bahoken - reported here after the AGM - have been confirmed, while Caprice is on his way back to Blackpool. The winger was borrowed in August but didn't start a game for Saints, being restricted to the odd sub appearance. As a result it's no surprise he left and he'd even stopped making it as far as the bench in recent weeks.
