Kean Interest Confirmed

It was believed earlier that the deal was off because Ayr had rejected an offer of £10k from Saints. However, it appears the deal is still on, and could be completed before tonight's transfer deadline.

Manager MacPherson said: "We have enquired about the availability of Ayr Utd striker Stewart Kean. I'm not involved in the financial side of things at the Club when it comes to players coming or going but we have indicated to the Board of Directors that Stewart Kean is someone we would like and that he would be a more than useful addition to our squad."

Here's hoping we can squeeze it through.
