John On Trial?

John has been with New England Revolution - where he was a team mate of Dorman - for a few years, but according to media reports in the States it would seem he has not been re-signed by them. More interestingly, it also seems he has spent some time on trial with Dundee recently - although the fact they didn't sign him should set alarm bells ringing.
Furthermore, John and Dorman share the same football agency, which also represents four of our summer signings...
All very strange - are we really in for this player? If so, we could sign him and play him before the summer as he's a free agent!
