Incidents To Be Reported

It is unlikely that any serious action will be taken against either club. Saints chairman Stewart Gilmour has already backed tannoy announcer Phil for asking the home supporters not to respond to the sectarian songs, even if he didn't specifically ask for the request to be made.

It looks as if Celtic will once again get away with their sick songs as legislation governing stiff penalties for sectarian chants is not set to be introduced until next season. Of course, if you listen to their fans there weren't any sectarian songs, merely ones about the IRA, which of course is perfectly acceptable.
