Hamilton gets the boot

Hamilton has expressed his surprise at this turn of events in several newspapers today, but it was an inevitable move considering his performances this year. While he was excellent in December, he has been awful in 2009 and in some games it seemed pretty clear that he wasn't really trying. He may have scored four goals for us this season, but most fans are delighted to see the back of him.

Hamilton signed for us in January 2008 from Dunfermline and scored a total of five goals. His physical presence will be missed, but hopefully we can get in another big striker who will put in some effort on a more regular basis.
