Hall Of Fame Unveiled

Some of those who are being given awards have been named. From the past, both Campbell Money and Norrie McWhirter are getting awards. From the current team, Hugh Murray and Ricky Gillies will be honoured, as both have made over 200 appearances for Saints.

If Shuggy's only Saints game was that one against Stirling Albion I'd still give him an award, as that goal kept us up and alive. Ricky's heroics in trying to keep us in the SPL are also almost worthy of an award in themselves.
Who else will be in the hall of fame? Surely players such as Tony Fitzpatrick, Kenny McDowell and Billy Abercromby will be in for awards. Anyone from the title season? Well, if the requirement is playing over 200 games then Barry Lavety, Barry McLaughlin and Mark Yardley will all be entrants, whilst captain Tommy Turner might also make it.

Mirren Mad will have the full list of entrants when it is made public. It is hoped that if and when the new stadium is built, there will be a special place in it for the hall of fame.
