Grow a Fitzy for Movember!

Last updated : 02 November 2011 By Stuart Gillespie

For those that don't know, Movember is a campaign that comes round every year to raise both money and awareness of issues surrounding men's health, particularly cancer. The idea is that men everywhere don't shave their upper lip for the month of November and let the hair grow into a moustache. Hence Movember.

'Yflab' - who posts as that name on some of the Saints forums on the web - has created the 'Tony Fitzpatrick Tache Squad' for Saints fans looking to take part in Movember by growing moustaches of their own or simply by donating. Tony sported a rather impressive 'tache during his time playing for and managing the club and he has agreed to take part and grow a new moustache himself.

He'll also be judging the squad's efforts in the Argyll pub in Paisley on Saturday, December 3 and it's hoped there will be prizes for the best ones on show.

Anyone who would like to get involved by growing a moustache can do so by visiting: https://www.movember.com/uk/register/details/team_id/286486

And anyone looking to make a donation to their efforts should check out: http://uk.movember.com/donate/team-details/id/286486/searchTerm/TONY+fITZPATRICK+tACHE+sQUAD

'Yflab' can also be contacted on the forum on the official website and on Black and White Army for anyone looking to donate in another way or find out more information.

Good luck guys!
