Despite gaffer Danny Lennon being optimistic about a deal for the forward a week ago, it is looking increasingly unlikely we will be able to sign him. It's not surprising as Dundee only kept him because they could get big money for him, and if we can afford their valuation then there's a fair chance someone better can as well.
It looks as if Dundee want a six figure sum for Griffiths so it's almost certain there won't be a deal. With Burnley's Steven Thompson this week stating his intention to stay put, it looks as if Lennon will have to look elsewhere for his new striker.
