Glass Deal Moves Closer

Rumours of Glass' arrival in Paisley have been bouncing around the net for a few weeks, but in the past few days they seem to have become more concrete, with one of the Edinburgh radio stations also reporting that the deal is close.

It had been reported at the weekend that Saints were hoping to add at least two more players to the squad before jetting out to Italy at the weekend, and it would seem Glass is one of them. The other is likely to be Rab Douglas or Jim McIntyre.

Meanwhile, it seems former Saints Ricky Gillies and Allan Russell have joined the current squad for pre-season training. It will be interesting to see if anything develops with either of them, although realistically it is unlikely either will win a deal.
