Former Saints in Scotland squad

Iwelumo's inclusion is probably the biggest surprise. The striker, who started his career at Saints before leaving in 1998, has been injured for much of the season before scoring for Bristol City on Sunday. Whatever he does in the rest of his career, he'll forever be remembered for his shocking miss against Norway on his Scotland debut in 2008.

Adam, who was on loan at the club during our title season of 2005/06, fully deserves his place in the squad. He has been in superb form since joining Blackpool on a permanent deal, scoring 13 goals and being made club captain.

Gallacher has been capped seven times for Scotland and was added to George Burley's squad for his final game against Wales, but didn't make the bench. With Craig Gordon now fit and Allan McGregor likely to get a recall soon, it's unlikely the Saints keeper will be back in the international frame anytime soon.
