Fellner Signs!

A morning signing makes you look an even bigger prat than normal when you have previously posted about how the trialists may sign in the next few days. Not to worry. The news, which was put on The Official Site in the last few hours, shouldn't come as a shock to Mirren Mad readers, or readers of a few of the papers. Having been on the bench on Saturday against Alloa, manager Tom Hendrie obviously liked what he saw in the 32 year old Austrian defender/midfielder who plays down the right.

Fellner was part of Falkirk's squad which was beaten in the 1997 Scottish Cup Final. He has also played for SV Wustenrot Salzberg (where he played alongside Oliver Beirhoff), FC.N ST. Polten and VfB Admira Wacker Modling. Apologies if thats not the correct spelling of any of these clubs, but it was taken off his webpage, which can be found at http://www.gerhard-fellner.at.tt/
