Dorman goes back

The midfielder has been available since his Crystal Palace contract was terminated at the end of August. A few Saints fans suggested that Danny Lennon should make a move for him, especially after the injury to Paul McGowan, but he has now gone back to the Boston club, where he played between 2004 and 2007.

Dorman - who has a few Welsh caps thanks to a change in the international rules - had two and a half years in Paisley. He would often go missing for large chunks of the season but when he was on top form he was fantastic and scored a few screamers, as well as a double in the famous 4-0 win over Celtic.

He left in 2010 to join Palace but couldn't adapt to life in the Championship, even being sent on loan to Bristol Rovers last season. It was an amusing move as he hadn't realised they played in League Two, rather than League One!
