Saints can expect a financial boost after being told their Scottish Cup quarter-final against Hearts at Tynecastle next month will be shown live on TV.
Last night's results set up the last eight match, with Saints seeing off Ross County at Dingwall and Hearts needing extra time to beat St Johnstone. The game was originally due to go ahead on Saturday, March 10 and will still be played on that date - but kick-off has been shifted to 12.30pm so it can be shown on BBC.
As well as getting a split of the gate receipts, both clubs are also due around £82,500 for the game being shown - a handy cash boost and more than enough to cover the Dougie Imrie transfer fee.
