Corcoran Confirms Saints Move

Last updated : 21 April 2005 By Stuart Gillespie
Corcoran says it has been his dream to play football full-time, something the move to Saints will give him. He has signed a one year deal with the club, Saints obviously not wanting to risk too much on a player who has only played one season of first division football.

Corcoran signed for Accies last year from junior side Linlithgow Rose and seems to have done well for himself after a poor start. He can play up front but his prefered position is on the left wing, which could spell the end for one of Simon Lappin, Laurie Ellis and Ryan McCay.

Hamilton manager Allan Maitland says he will still pick Corcoran for the remaining games of the season despite his imminent departure. Let's hope he doesn't get injured or suspended in tha time!

Interestingly, there has been no confirmation from Love Street on the deal, with the club perhaps waiting until Hamilton are safe from relegation before announcing Corcoran's arrival.
