We already knew about Burnley's interest, but news of the fact Celtic might be interest in the SPL player of the month for October is new. It was reported in today's edition of The People - which is a Sunday paper and not a Rangers fanzine - so it's anyone's guess how reliable it is.
According to the tabloid, Burnley look set to beat Celtic for McLean's signature and will sign him in January. Is there any truth in any of that? Who knows, but a bidding war for one of our players wouldn't be the end of the world!
