McLean has burst into the first team squad this season and has rarely put in a good performance. His passing has been superb and he deserves more of a chance than he has been getting - although he did start Saturday's game against Hearts.
The young Scots are due to play Belgium on Thursday and it'll be interesting to see of McLean gets a game. Late call-ups rarely do, but there have been so many call offs it won't be long until he's first choice!
