The nightmare involving St. Mirren and Mo Camara finally came to an end today when the defender followed Dennis Wyness' lead by agreeing to have the remaining six months of his contract paid up.
After arriving from Derby just under a year ago, Camara quickly proved to be a disaster. Towards the end of last seaspn he became more and more of a bombscare at leftback and was finally ditched after being torn apart by Inverness Caley Thistle's Dougie Imrie. He played just once this season - against East Stirlingshire - with injury and the form of David Barron keeping him out of the team thereafter.
Earlier this week he was told he was free to find another club and an agreement has been reached that sees him leave now. Most Saints fans will be delighted that a deal has been struck to see one of the club's highest earners leave, and now we must hope that a few new faces can be found before the transfer window shuts.
