Broadfoot Named Young Player Of The Month

Last updated : 07 April 2005 By Stuart Gillespie
Broadfoot last won the award last season when being used as a midfielder, and team mate Simon Lappin also picked it up last season. However, Broadfoot is the first Saints player to win the award this season, although Saints boss Gus MacPherson picked up the manager award back in September.

This award is further proof of how well Broadfoot is doing this season. Many Saints fans feel he'll be playing SPL football soon, whether with Saints or someone else. Fortunately we have him tied up on a two year deal so we'll be due a reasonable bit of cash if he does go elsewhere.

Well done Kirk!
