Broadfoot Makes Scotland Debut

Broadfoot has been a regular member of the Scotland Under 21 side over the last few seasons and was given his chance to impress on a bigger stage last night, along with former Saint Charlie Adam. As the Scottish defence didn't concede any goals he must have done reasonably well.

The Scotland B side replaces the Future Squad which existed under Berti Vogts and gave players like Paul hartley the chance to impress at Future International level. Last night's team contained full cap players such as Andy Webster and Kris Boyd.

Hopefully playing last night will help Kirk and he'll be called up to more squads in the future, along with team mate Simon Lappin - who just missed out on a call up this time.
