The game will be held at Greenhill Road, where the sides met in the quarter-finals of last season's competition. Saints played poorly that night so it wasn't a huge shock to see Ayr snatch victory with 10 minutes left - especially given our record against lower league sides.
This is the perfect chance to get our own back and finally end our wait for a home cup win under Danny Lennon. Bizarrely it's the third time we've drawn Ayr in a cup in as many seasons, having beaten them 2-1 in the Scottish Cup early last year.
The game will almost certainly be played on Tuesday, August 28.
