Ayr Not Interested In Basher

They already have Ludovic Roy, Barry McLaughlin and John Hillcoat, whilst former players Campbell Money and Norrie McWhirter make up the management team. A few papers had reported earlier in the week that the recently released Basher was on his way to Somerset. A trial looked the least he was going to get. However, Money has said this is not so:
"A fit Barry Lavety is an exceptionally good player but he has had problems with his fitness for a long time."
Sadly something we know all about from last season. Money also said Ayr tried getting Basher during the January transfer window, but he never got back to them.
