The 19-year-old was loaned to the Sons at the start of the season to get some first team experience, but only managed one goal before breaking his ankle. His loan deal was extended to the end of the season and he is banging in the goals now that he is fully fit. He scored twice against Brechin City during the week to take his tally to seven goals in as many games.
Clearly, the loan spell is working out for Jon so hopefully he'll get anew deal next season to allow him to try his luck with the Saints first team - regardless of the division we're in.
