Former Bolton midfielder Mooy played for Saints as a trialist a few weeks ago, but got injured. The young midfielder, who has appeared for Australia at under-20 level, seems to be highly rated and apparently scored twice in a bounce game earlier in the week.
Mooy and Giannaros both featured in today's 2-2 draw with Morton. Giannaros played at rightback and is a defender, having played for Central Coast Mariners last season. However, the 22-year-old is available on a free after leaving them.
With over a week to go until our next competitive game, Saints boss Danny Lennon will certainly ave plenty of time to look at them and decide if they're any good.
