Apologies

First thing's first. Last Saturday saw our 100% home record in the league ended in the last minute when ex Saint Mark Roberts scored an equaliser for Airdrie United. 1-1 was the final score with Brian McGinty scoring for Saints, with some help from an Airdrie defender. Airdrie more than deserved their point, in fact had they scored earlier we could have been in major trouble. Fortunately, Falkirk and Clyde drew with each other so we are still a point clear at the top. Hooray!

After Saturday's match, it seems that the officials, whow ere awful as usual, were locked inside their changing room. Nice one Saints, but why did you let them out?

Two ex Saints have taken moves into management. Billy Davies has been handed the Preston North End job on a permanent basis, having previously been the caretaker there, whilst Graham Fenton is currently player/caretaker at non league side Blyth Spartans. Another ex Saint, Joe McLaughlin, is still caretaker at Morton and managed a 6-1 hammering of Alloa at the weekend. Nice!

Finally, there are rumours that Saints are set to sign axed Dundee striker Bobby Linn. The youngster was sacked after a problem at training last week, and has been linked with moves to Raith Rovers, Clyde and St. Johnstone as well as ourselves.
