Barry Lavety started, and managed to last 75 minutes before being subbed, and was apparently impressive despite not scoring. As I wasn't there I can't comment! McGinty's goal came after good work from Mark Crilly, whilst Gillies scored after a good deliver by Simon Lappin. Trialists Emeka Obidile, David Jack and Ross Currie all got run outs once more.
Two wins from four games (including the silly trialist game) and things are looking good for Saints. All that remains is next week's Renfrewshire Cup final against Morton and Saints will have managed to stay undefeated in pre season for the first time in years.
