Aberdeen Chase Bobo

Last updated : 25 January 2005 By Stuart Gillespie
Earlier in the week Mirren Mad brought you the news that Leicester City were looking to sign him on a pre contract agreement so that he could move south in the summer. It now looks as if Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood wants to take the future South African international to Pittodrie. Calderwood is undecided on whether to get O'Brien now or in the summer.

Livingston are willing to sell both O'Brien and fellow ex Saint David McNamee. Both are out of contract in the summer so the financially troubled club are hoping to get some sort of cash for them. One problem could be that Blackburn Rovers want a percentage of any transfer fee, having let them go for nothing after their ill fated move from Love Street.

Hearts and Hibs have apparently been interested in signing both of them, but it seems that Leicester and Aberdeen just want Bobo.

Whatever happens it looks as if both Burton and David will be leaving Livingston, it just remains to be seen whether it will be now or in the summer.
