6,000 Seats? No Chance!

We need to move ground to survive, everyone accepts that. At present, we are in a 10,000 seater stadium, having built a new stand a few years ago. Admittedly it might not have been necessary given the attendances. However, why when all the figures and planning have been worked out, should we move to a smaller stadium?

Whilst Love Street hasn't been full, some investigation reveals that the last two home games of our title season, plus three or four others during the season, topped the 6,000 mark. We also had two or three games not including the Old Firm topping that number during the SPL season. Where are these people meant to go? Sure, they may be glory hunters, but they are still willing to pay to watch Saints. When Saints do well we have a great support, and a 6,000 seater stadium is no where near big enough.

Don't do it Mr. Chairman, Saints need a 10,000 seater so that, if and when the glory days return, we can take advantage of them.
